But this is android-specific glib right? I'm compiling faceniff using my debian-arm machine. My first thought was to compile faceniff using normal gcc on arm machine and provide all necessary libs but this doesn't seem to work (missing libs even if I use LD_LIBRARY_PATH). And adding -static to compilation breaks a lot of things. But compiling for android would be even better. Rosa could you provide some more info how I could do it the fastest way?

@dabadbastard: it depends, when I showed for my folks hijacking sessions using laptop with arpspoof and tcpdump and a bunch other things they thought that it's so difficult no one would do it. But when I showed this on a mobile then they really understood that this is easy to do and anyone could do it.

Probably compiling directly on Android would force you to change some preprocessor directives but accelerate development a bit afterwards.

I'm actually "afk" from in about ten minutes to Sunday afternoon, but I could investigate further when I'm back...

Moved offtopic posts to new thread: is-faceniff-malicious-app-t165.html

I'll try and build it using NDK I hope I'll manage.

Edit: finally compiled it :D Unfortunately I'm moving out to a new location and won't have internet connection on a PC for few days. Hopefully i'll start working on it in next week.

I had a similar idea once to write an app similiar to this one, but never could tolerate java probgramming so I never made it past a couple binaries :p

in any case, amazing job sir! Two questions: one, Ive noticed the binary can be run from the termininal, though no information on any applicable commands, so im curious as to what those are. .
Second, Ive managed to port sslstrip to a linux arm kernel, though not a native android arm. Sounds like youve managed to do this to ^_^. But why not release this capability if its already done? Legal concerns?
Anyway, great job once again!

I've written sslstrip from scratch using C with epoll instead of python. The binary doesn't have any interesting options and what for can you use it? :-) Also I'm not releasing the sslstrip support now because I'm not 100% it would be legal (or ethically correct).
